Caterama is Blackpool and the Fylde’s premier catering event, which is in its 25th year. It was started by a gentleman by the name of Jim Smith “who worked for Ken’s Meats Market now know as Clifton Quality Meats” who decided it would be a great idea to show case to all the hotel’s, restaurants and catering business’s on the Fylde coast, all that the Fylde’s business’s had to offer under one roof.

From fresh meat to beds in fact any business that could provide a service to the hotel and catering industry. What started off with 15 stands in the Sandcastle now attracts over 70 stands in the norcalympia exhibition centre Norbreck Castle Blackpool. It has also attracted businesses from all over the UK showcasing their products and services to the businesses on the Fylde coast. Since the retirement of Jim Smith, the new event organiser Tony Pickavance has picked all the best bits of the exhibition from the last 25 years and added new and fresh ideas to make it one of the best exhibitions in the North West.

Caterama provides a pre-season showcase of the wide range of catering products and services on offer to businesses in the Northwest all under one roof. It’s a one-stop opportunity for Northwest business people to meet local as well as out of town companies. Caterama has earned a reputation for offering excellent deals and I’m sure they will be eagerly snapped up, as will the plentiful supply of free samples.

The food court within the exhibition will enable people sit and relax and talk to different suppliers and enable them to evaluate what is the best opportunity for their particular trade. They will also be able to see meat demonstrations by Clifton Quality Meats during the day by a master butcher all the way from Holland.

Weather you come from Blackpool or Bristol or new or old customers come along to this free event to the trade by printing off the invitation located on the visitor page on this site.
